  • Viviana is pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University. She earned her master’s degree Legal and Forensic Psychology from the University of California, Irvine and her bachelor's degree in Sociology/Criminology from California State University Northridge.

    Viviana completed an undergraduate internship working with adolescents at the Los Angeles County Probation Department who were struggling with addiction and reentry into society. Viviana has experience providing holistic care to adults via telehealth, in both English and Spanish. She is a registered psychological associate working under the supervision of Dr. Kathryn Wiens.

  • Viviana has experience treating a variety of mental and emotional issues. She uses evidence-based treatments and integrative interventions to provide patient-centered care. Viviana is experienced with issues of acculturation and belonging and provides culturally responsive interventions.

    Her specialties include treating anxiety, social anxiety, emotional regulation, trauma, depression, substance use disorders, suicide prevention, and trauma and stress-related conditions. Viviana is looking forward to helping people from all walks of life.

    Viviana has training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches.

  • Viviana is an active member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Los Angeles County Psychological Association (LACPA).

  • Viviana is originally from Santiago, Chile and has lived in Texas, Kentucky, Northern California and is now settled in Los Angeles. She is a registered yoga teacher who enjoys Pilates, spinning, hiking, and spending time with her family experiencing new things.
