  • Dr. Jahan earned her doctorate degree from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. In addition, she has two Masters degrees in Clinical Psychology; one with a focus on assessment. She is a licensed psychologist in CA and specializes in Clinical Psychology.

    Dr. Jahan is certified as a Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART) Healthcare provider by the Benson Henry Institute (Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital)

    Additionally, she is in training to become a certified Mindfulness teacher.

  • In addition to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Dr. Jahan specializes in mindfulness and compassion- based approaches to treating adults with stress, relationship issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, and chronic illness and pain.

    Dr. Jahan has extensive experience working with military service members and families. Additionally, she has experience working in community mental health, a university counseling center and large healthcare organizations.

    As a healthcare provider certified in Mind Body Medicine, Mojgan provides training on the topics of stress management and prevention of burnout. In her role as a Master Trainer, she has taught principles of Mind Body Medicine to over 800 healthcare providers and thousands of clients in group training sessions.

    Mojgan has a special interest in groups and organizations. Specifically, how contexts shape/impact identities and behaviors. She has been actively working with Group Relations (GR) for over 20 years.

  • Dr. Jahan was born in Iran and is fluent in Farsi and English. Her experience of living in different cultural milieus enables her to appreciate multiple perspectives. She is passionate about empowering people and her work is infused with her values. Her warm, interpersonal style demonstrates her genuine love of working with people and helping them grow.

    Dr. Jahan appreciates humor and is a big fan of comedy clubs, as well as live theater and films. She has a special love for trees and forests. On weekends, you can find her hanging out with friends and family, doing volunteer work, and going on long walks, preferably among trees.
