  • Dr. Megan Frazier received a Doctorate in Psychology at Pepperdine University, a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Frazier is licensed to practice psychology in California, Washington and Colorado.

  • Dr. Frazier is a licensed psychologist specializing in the treatment of complex trauma and eating disorders. She completed her clinical fellowship in the treatment and research of eating disorders at UCSD Eating Disorders Center in San Diego, California. She has previously worked as a psychologist in a hospital-based medical stabilization unit at Denver Health’s ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders, where she provided psychotherapy, assessment, clinical supervision and research. She has also previously worked as a clinical supervisor and lead psychologist at a residential treatment program for youth with complex trauma and severe behavioral challenges from foster care, adoptions and juvenile corrections systems.

    Dr. Frazier has a wide range of experience in evidence-based treatment for adolescents and adults with severe presentations across all levels of care. When working with clients, she utilizes an integrative, trauma-informed approach that is rooted in attachment and psychodynamic theory. She also has specific experience in the following modalities: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT, CBT-E), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Maudsley/Family Based Treatment (FBT).

  • Dr. Frazier is a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS) and member of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp).

  • Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Frazier has always loved the beach and found the ocean as a source of healing. She attended high school at the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) and she is trained in classical ballet and contemporary dance. Since moving to Colorado, she has continued to enjoy spending time in nature and hiking with her dogs. She also loves traveling internationally, dancing, exploring new cuisine, and seeing live music and comedy.
