  • Keri embraces a psychodynamic and humanistic approach to therapy, believing that healing grows from understanding the deeper patterns in our thoughts, feelings, and relationships. She creates a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where teens, adults, and families can feel truly seen and heard. Keri values the unique story each person brings to therapy and works collaboratively to explore unconscious patterns, past experiences, and current challenges that may influence emotional well-being. Through her humanistic lens, she emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and respect—encouraging clients to connect with their inner strengths and move toward growth and self-acceptance.

Whether facing depression, crisis, anxiety, or relationship difficulties, Keri tailors her approach to support each individual’s  journey with warmth, insight, and genuine care. She integrates common evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and mindfulness techniques, always adapting her work to meet each client’s unique needs with empathy, respect, and flexibility.

  • Keri is registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist.

  • Keri was born and raised in Hawaiʻi, and her island upbringing continues to inspire her deep appreciation for connection, culture, and community. She moved to San Diego five years ago and continues to embrace the vibrant coastal lifestyle. Keri enjoys staying active through running and golfing and loves taking long walks with her dog. Whether it’s a quiet walk, a good book, or quality time with loved ones, she values the simple, grounding moments that bring balance, joy, and perspective to her life.

  • Growth isn’t always neat or quick—sometimes it feels like fumbling in the dark—but with patience, honesty, and a little support, even the messiest moments can lead to something meaningful.
