  • Karli earned her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego in 2024. During her graduate training, she completed an internship at San Diego City Community College, where she worked with adolescents, adults, and couples facing a wide range of challenges—from test anxiety to active psychosis. Following graduation, Karli has been dedicated to community mental health, providing counseling to underserved adults struggling with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders. She is licensed to practice psychology in the state of California under the supervision of Dr. Kimberly Fitzgerald, Ph.D.

  • Karli has experience working with adolescents, teens, adults, and couples, with a special focus on athletes, anxiety disorders, trauma, depression, and relationship distress. She tailors her therapeutic approach to each client's needs, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

    Karli takes a client-centered and strength-based collaborative approach to therapy, ensuring that each individual feels heard, supported, and empowered in achieving their treatment goals.

  • Originally from Maryland, Karli lived on the East Coast until 2022, when she made the exciting transition to move to Southern California for her graduate studies. Before pursuing a career in counseling, she worked in business marketing and sales, but her passion for helping others led her to the field of mental health. A former Division I soccer player, Karli remains deeply connected to athletics and incorporates her understanding of performance psychology into her work with clients. 

    Karli has fully embraced the SoCal lifestyle and hopes to call it home forever! In her free time, you’ll find her taking workout classes, playing beach volleyball, spending time with friends, or visiting Dog Beach with her beloved pup, Skye. As a self-proclaimed foodie, she’s always on the lookout for San Diego’s best dining spots.
